Ingredients
Scale

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

- Add olive oil and butter to the skillet with the beef. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
- If heavy cream is unavailable, use half-and-half or whole milk with a tablespoon of butter.
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese will provide the best flavor.
- Add spinach, mushrooms, or broccoli for extra vegetables.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
- This dish can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free pasta.
