- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups fresh Granny Smith apples (peeled and chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, beat sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla and milk; mix gently.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in chopped apples until evenly distributed.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly, then poke holes in the cake and soak with a mixture of whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream for at least one hour (overnight preferred).
- Whip remaining heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form; spread over chilled cake.
