- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (120 ml) buffalo sauce (adjust to spice preference)
- ½ cup (120 ml) ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup (60 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) butter (optional, for added creaminess)
- ¼ cup (60 ml) sour cream (for spiderweb design)
- Black olives (for spider shapes)
- Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8- or 9-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the shredded chicken, half the cheddar cheese, and half the mozzarella cheese until well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and the cheese is melted and golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Spoon sour cream into a piping bag or sandwich bag and pipe concentric circles over the dip. Drag a toothpick from the center outward to create a spiderweb design. Add black olive halves and strips to make spiders.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, crackers, or sliced baguette.
