- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 4 tablespoons water
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix pumpkin, coconut oil, and water in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add flour, baking soda, and baking powder to the wet ingredients.
- Stir in the egg until the dough forms a slightly sticky ball. Add a bit more water if needed.
- On a floured surface, roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes like pumpkins, bones, or ghosts.
- Place the cut-out treats on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, or until firm and golden.
- Allow the biscuits to cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Use 100% pure pumpkin, not pumpkin pie mix.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to 2 months.
- For grain-free treats, swap whole wheat flour for oat or almond flour.
