- 1 Tablespoon freshly ground pepper
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small bowl, mix together the kosher salt, freshly ground pepper, minced rosemary, and chopped thyme.
- In another small bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, and minced garlic.
- Place the turkey breast side up on a rack inside a roasting pan. Pour about 1 cup of water into the bottom of the pan. Brush the butter mixture all over the turkey and inside the cavity, then massage the dry rub all over the entire turkey.
- Roast the turkey in the preheated 450 degree oven for 45 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Continue roasting the turkey, basting with the reserved butter mixture every 30 minutes.
- After the second hour of roasting, check the turkey’s internal temperature every 15 minutes, aiming for 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Once at temperature, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest on a cutting board for 30 minutes to one hour.
