- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed (for stuffing)
- Black olives, sliced (for eyes)
- Mozzarella cheese slices (for the whites of the eyes)
- Optional: parsley or Italian seasoning
- For the Spooky Spaghetti:
- 1 lb spaghetti (regular or black/purple pasta)
- Salted water (for boiling)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Red or green food coloring (optional)
- 3 cups marinara or spaghetti sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Flatten a spoonful, place a cheese cube inside, and roll into a ball.
- Place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake 18–20 minutes until cooked through and golden.
- Boil pasta as directed. Add food coloring to water for a spooky effect if desired. Drain and toss with olive oil.
- Heat marinara sauce in a skillet and toss pasta until coated.
- Add mozzarella circles and olive slices to meatballs for ‘eyes’. Secure with sauce if needed.
- Serve pasta on a platter topped with monster meatballs and extra sauce.
